Will Hindu's cottages be given to officials who were at law with them?
The summer cottages association PK “ST Ptitsevod” hold a meeting. A new list of members of the cooperative was discussed in connection to selling plots with destroyed houses of Hare Krishna community. In the list there were surnames of the local government officials who previously were at law with Hare Krishna organization and it's followers.
New claim of Karasai Hakimat: dark turn of events in the Hindu issue
New claim dated January 16, 2007 issued by the Karasai district Hakimat. By this new claim the Karasai Hakimat is making a ground ready to cancel the Supreme Court decision, which has granted the right on a land use to the Society for Krishna Consciousness. The only Hindu commune in the area is in danger to seize to exist at the nearest time.
Tax police full check-up of Hindu commune started
A tax police full check-up of the religious organization Society for Krishna Consciousness started. The tax inspector is take an interest in all the documents regarding the land property, checking up all the bookkeeping documents on the 2005-2006 period.

A criminal case against Hindus announced
General Prosecutor’s office representative announced that
on January 3rd, 2007 the Prosecutors Office of Karasai District has
initiated a criminal case in regards of Markin, Hibatullin and
Shklovskaya, who are the members of the Hindu commune.
Hindus were refused to legalize their property
20 members of horticultural association "Priozerye", who are the summer cottages owners and the members of the Hindu commune, went for the session of the Legalization Commission. Without any reason people were refused in legalization. No written answer was given nor documents were accepted.
Hindus answer to the main conclusions of the Commission
On January 5 the Religious Affairs Department held a briefing to summarize the work of the Commission for
investigating the land issues of Hindus in the Karasai
district, Almaty province.
As a result of these "land issues," on November 21, 2006, the local
authorities demolished 13
houses of the faithful thus leaving the families houseless in the cold
of winter.
On December 22 the Special Commission completed its investigation. It
arrived to the conclusion that basically members of the religious
organization themselves created the situation.
Karasai court canceled registration of HA "Priozerye"
Karasai regional court ruled to cancel the registration of the horticultural association "Priozerye".
In the court Priozyerye members and the Hindus got the list of privatization, given by the Land Committee representative. There are no members of HA "Priozyerye" nor Hindus in this list.
